Guidance for Homework:

Reading: We ask parents to read with children every evening for 15 minutes - reading is the most important and valuable thing you can do with your child are this stage of their learning. You can read to them, share a book, get them to predict what will happen in a story or get them to decribe a story's events. You can also get your child to read to you for about 10 minutes everyday.

Educational Visits & Exhibitions.

Summer 1: Our Topic will be the Enormous Turnip which is linked to science learning about growing and changing. We don't have any trips planned this half term

Exhibition: We will be giving every child in the class a pot, some soil and a seed and asking you to take it home and grow it. On Thursday 24th May we will ask you to bring the plants back into school so we can show them all in our exhibition - Good luck!

Summer 2: End of Year Trip: Tuesday 17th July 2018 - we will be going to Golders Hill Park for the day. We will have a picnic lunch and play games in the park - taking the 210 bus from school direct to the park.
